Java Monkey Shake
The banana trees we planted in the earth two years ago have fruited. If you are like us and have more fresh, ripe bananas than you can eat (or bake), peel the bananas, slice them into bite-size chunks, and freeze in a freezer bag. I've also read that the banana peels themselves can be blended with water and used as rose fertilizer.
This will quickly become your favorite anytime shake.
- 2 bananas cut into bite-size pieces (fresh or frozen)
- splash organic soymilk or almond milk
- 1 six-oz. container of fat free vanilla yogurt
- 2 tablespoons organic peanut butter
- teaspoon instant coffee
- teaspoon cocoa powder
Use more or less of each ingredient to taste. Blend & Serve.
